19 Objective of the Course: Theoretical and practical education in all aspects of conservation and restoration of metal, ceramic, glass works from soil and underwater finds.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know basic laboratory materials, duties and responsibilities to observe in laboratory environment.;
2 Be able to prepare solutions;
3 To know the causes of metal artifacts. Know conservation and restoration methods and be able to apply them;
4 To know the causes of degradation of terracotta works. Knowing and practicing conservation and restoration methods.;
5 To know the numbering of inventory of archaeological finds.;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Basic laboratory knowledge and description of laboratory materials. Safety precautions, Duties and responsibilities to be observed in the laboratory environment Solution preparation and application at different pH ratios at different concentrations of solid and liquid samples.
2 The first intervention to be made in excavation of metal objects from soil and underwater finds. General properties of metals and mechanical cleaning. Cleaning of oxide and salt layers with different chemical substances in metal
3 Definition and properties of bronze artifacts Electrochemical cleaning methods of bronze works
4 Iron and lead deterioration, protection Deterioration of gold and silver and protection methods Mechanical cleaning in terracotta works and glass works
5 Structural features of ceramic and glass works from soil and under water Chemical and electro chemical cleaning in terra cotta works and glass works.
6 Visa Bonding and integration of terracotta works.
7 Sorting of archaeological findings. Inventory numbering and maintenance methods. Gluing and embedding of glass works
8 Conservation and restoration of ceramic and glass works from soil and under water
