19	Objective of the Course:	Provide information about breeding, feeding, and improvement of farm animals.

Learning Outcomes:

1	Knows the importance of livestock and the place it’s standing in agricultural production;
2	Knows the breed, strain concepts, breeds and breed characteristic differences.;
3	Knows morphological and physiological characteristics of various farm animals.;
4	Learns the basic concept and information about animal improvement.;
5	Learns the care and management applications and practical breeding techniques in farm animals.;
6	Learns basic and practical information in animal feeding and nutrition.;
7	Knows nutrients and their functions in animal body;
8	Recognizes and knows the general functions of the digestive systems of farm animals.;

2	The breed and strain concepts, breed characteristic differences and classification of breeds in animal science
3	Importance of fertility and reproduction on livestock.

6	Importance of sheep breeding and management.
7	Importance of goat breeding and management.
8	The importance of Poultry, and the place it is in Turkey and around the World.
9	Care and management in poultry meat and egg production
10	Repeating courses and midterm exam
11	The nutrient content of feeds and animal body
12	Digestive System of farm animals and digestion of feeds
13	Feeds and feed additives
14	Feeding of farm animals in different physiological periods
