19 Objective of the Course: To have knowledge about the development of national literatures constituting world literature. To be able to recognize and interpret the great writers and works of world literature. Examination of selected works of world classics using contemporary criticism methods.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to interpret the discussions around the concept of world literature.;
2 Explaining the influences of thought currents on world literature.;
3 Sorting universal values produced by world literature.;
4 Be able to exemplify the classical works of world literature.;
5 To be able to interpret the interactions of the national literatures constituting world literature.;
6 To be able to use world literary classics as an educational tool.;
7 Explaining the place of Turkish literature in world literature.;
8 To be able to associate Turkish world literature with world literature.;
9 Knowing different learning approaches in terms of developmental characteristics of students.;
10 Planning, processing and evaluation of a specific course with knowledge and skills that it has taken in the program.;
