19 Objective of the Course: To gain the habit of reading the Karahan Turkish texts correctly. To determine the meaning of words by examining the word structures in depth. To investigate the language features of Karahan Turkish and the works of period.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learn the place and importance of Karahanlı Turkish Period in Turkish language history.;
2 To have knowledge about the works of Karahanlı Turkish Period and related sources.;
3 Students will be able to read the texts written in Karahan Turkish correctly and have information about the language features of the period.;
4 Examine and understand the texts of the Karahanid Turkish Period.;
5 Recognize the sociocultural structure of the Karahanli period.;
6 Recognize the important figures of the period; have knowledge about their place in Turkish language, history and culture.;
