1 To learn concepts related to conservation and restoration;
2 Recognize the history and pioneers of conservation ideas and approaches;
3 Understanding the role of the art historian in the field of conservation;
4 Evaluation of causes of deterioration in monuments and sites;
5 Recognizing new concepts and approach;
6 To know the institutions about protection and their functioning;
7 Discussing conservation and restoration problems;
8 Contributing to the awareness of the community in the field of preservation of historical monuments;

1 Definitions of the conservation, restoration and relating concepts, value that must be protected, cultural heritage
2 History of architectural restoration idea and the contemporain restoration conception
3 Factors that cause deterioration and spoilage in architectural monuments
4 Reserach and documentation methods, the role of art historian
5 Etude on restorations projects, reading and improving the projects
6 Restoration methods and techniques
7 Historical environment, and factors that cause deterioration and spoilage
8 Midterm exam and general review
9 Site management plan concept, exemples
10 Using the historic buildings after the restoration and urban regeneration practices and evaluate their results
11 Evaluation of the field study
12 Institutions and sivil societies relevant in conservation, their fonctining and powers
13 Laws, regulations and principles on conservation
14 Ways to create and evolve awareness of conservation of the society
