19 Objective of the Course: Solving the Ottoman Empire in the Modern Age period and understanding its place in the balance of the world states.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to comprehend the place of the Ottoman State in the balance of the world states while entering into the neighborhood;;
2 To learn the wars that Ottoman Empire entered in the second half of the 18th century and the effects of wars on the state and social structure;;
3 From Selim III, to II. Mahmoud, to understand the logic of the blows as much as possible;;
4 To be able to comprehend the factors that speed up separation movements in the Ottoman Empire;;
5 Learning the emergence of the Egyptian issue and its transformation into a world issue;;
6 To be able to understand the development of internal migrations as a result of the Ottoman - Russian wars;;
7 Understanding the balance of new states with the Crimean War;;
8 To be able to comprehend the state structure formed with the coups of 1876;;
9 To learn the destructive effects of the 1877-1878 Ottoman-Russian War;;
10 To be able to grasp the balance of the Ottoman Empire while going to the First World War;;

3 The Ottoman-Russian War of 1787-1792 and its change in the state order as a result of these wars
4 Wars of Napoleon's invasion of Egypt and the expulsion of the French from Egypt.
5 Internal revolts: Serbian Revolt and Greek Uprising
6 Removal of the Janissary Hearth and the new order
7 1828-1829 Ottoman - Russian War, Greek Independence, Migrations
8 Mehmet Ali Pasha and the Egypt Question
9 Ottoman state order and institutional changes after Tanzimat
