19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is to teach the students medical plants which are important in curing diseases. The goals are to teach medical plants used in Turkey for laxative, sedative, digestant and diuretic purposes.

1 Explains the historical background of medical plants.;
2 Applies the methods of preparing drugs.;
3 Explains the usage form of medical plants.;
4 Explains the research on medical plants from Turkey.;
5 Lists the medical plants used in the respiratory system in Turkey.;
6 Explains the plants used in the circulatory system.;
7 Explains the plants used in the digestive system.;
8 Explains the plants used in the nervous system.;
9 Applies the plants that have anti- rheuromatizmal and dermatology use.;

2 Medical plants, recognition, recognition methods, plant collections.
3 Growing medical plants and drug preparation.
4 Medical plant composition, effect and usage forms.
5 Resources of Turkish flora, drug trade.
6 Medical plants in Turkey that are used in digestive system.
7 Repeating of course and Midterm Exam
8 Medical plants that are used in respiratory system.
9 Medical plants that are used in circulatory system.
10 Medical plants that are used in nervous system.
11 Medical plants that are used in dermatology.
12 Medical plants used for anti- rheuromatizmal purposes.
