19 Objective of the Course: The interactrion between economics and politics has always attracted the attention of economists. As a matter of fact after the affect of poltics over the choice and performance of economy politics is obviously seen, the studies over this field have increased rapidly.The objective of the this course is to provide an understanding of interaction between economics and politics.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The relation between Economics and politics is learned.;
2 Having information about the history of the political economy;
3 Theoretical foundations of political economy are able to be analyzed.;
4 Application fields of political economy are studied;
5 Interaction of individuals and the result of this interraction are understood in both markets and politics.;
6 What kind of effects the factors such as society, culture and geography cause over economics and politics are understood.;
7 The relations of political economy with the other diciplines are learned.;
8 Thoughts of important philosophers in the field of political economy are learned;
9 Changing in the field of political economy from past till today is learned;
10 Political economy discussions are analyzed over the perspective of today’s economic approach.;
