19 Objective of the Course: The objective of the course is that students are learn to specialities and principles of teaching profession, historical, sociological, psychological, economical, philosophical and legal bases of education, Turkish education system and alternative perspectives in education

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 to know the basic concepts related to education (e.g. education, learning, teaching, instruction);
2 To explain the relations to amongst to concept of education, learning, teaching, instruction ;
3 To explain the characteristic of teaching profession.;
4 To sort the effective (ideal) teacher qualifications. ;
5 To know the teacher training system in Turkey and its historical steps.;
6 To explain the main characteristic of teacher training curriculum.;
7 To explain the process of education scientification.;
8 To establish the relationship between education and psychology, sociology, philosophy,economics.;
9 To describe the basics of legal and administrative of the Turkish education system.;
10 To exemplify the, individual, social, cultural, political, economic functions of education.;
