19 Objective of the Course: Explanation the presence types of plant nutrients in the soil, sources and available forms by plants. Examination of the plant root system and soil nutrient uptake mechanisms of plants. Teaching the perspective of organic farming in plant nutrition.

1 Knows the nutrient uptake mechanisms by plants;
2 Recognizes fertilizer can be used in organic farming.;
3 Knows the methods of application of fertilizers using in organic agriculture;
4 Able to explain the compost techniques of organic waste.;

6 Soil analysis and sustainable productivity Cultivation systems in organic farming
7 Midterm exam legal regulations on organic farming
8 Soil conservation in organic agriculture Elemental sulphur application to decrease soil pH
9 Issues to be considered in the use of fertilizer and manure in organic farming Nitrogen fertilization in organic farming
10 Materials can be used as organic fertilizers and soil regulators in organic farming and general information about the properties Phosphorus and potassium fertilization in organic farming
