Objective of the Course:
The main aim of the course is to provide a theoretical framework on administration and governance including their prominent features and how they differ from each other. Besides, the course targets to inform the students about governance practices by examining international processes and documents. In this sense, it offers an evaluation of the idea of governance in terms of its global/ spatial dimensions. This evaluation will include the investigation of governance practices at the central and local administrative levels in Turkey and the changes that they bring about.
