19 Objective of the Course: To teach the students the etiology, pathogenesis, macroscopic and microscopic changes in congenital anomalies, circulatory disturbances, inflammations, infectious and parasitological diseases and tumors of central nervous system (CNS) in domestic animals. The student is expected to have a general insight on these diseases, to form an infrastructure for the understanding of the diagnosis, treatment and prophylaxis of the diseases of the system, and also to be able to express lesions of these systems orally and in written.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The student learns etiology, pathogenesis, macroscopic and microscopic changes in congenital anomalies, circulatory disturbances, inflammations, infectious and parasitological diseases and tumors of central nervous system (CNS) in domestic animals. ;
2 The student learns diseases of CNS and meninges. ;
3 Student learns how to describe lesions of the system and prepare oral and written reports ;

1 Congenital abnormalities of CNS Showing dias and FF tissues
2 Storage diseases of CNS Showing dias and slides about various pathologies.
3 Cytopathology of CNS Showing slides and dias about diseases of the system.
4 Circulatory problems in CNS. Showing slides and dias about circulatory problems of CNS, doing necropsies confining the problems of the brain and cerebellum.
5 Degeneration of CNS. Showing slides and dias
6 Increased intracranial pressure, brain edema. Showing slides and dias, discussion of current literatures.
7 Virus infections of CNS. Showing slides and dias about virus diseases of the system.
8 Bacterial infections of CNS. Showing dias about bacterial infection of the system.
9 Parasitic diseases of CNS. Showing slides and dias about the parasitic diseases of the system.
10 Protozoon infections of CNS. Showing dias and slides about protozoon infections.
11 Prion diseases of CNS. Showing dias and slides on the system.
12 Various inflammatory diseases of CNS. Showing dias about diseases of the system.
13 Myelinopathies. Showing dias and slides about the system
