19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to provide the students essential knowledge and ability of analytic thinking to relate and examine the relationship between urban space and culture, social life and identity form a holistic perspective.

1 To be able to analyze the organization of urban space with a historical perspective;
2 To be able to periodize the Spatial Peculiarities and Their Cultural Patterns;
3 To be able to Interpret the relationship between different spatial structures and cultures.;
4 To be able to analyze the spatial effects of Globalization Process ;
5 To be able to define the structural characteristics of the city;
6 To be able to analyze the developing and diversifying identities related to urban culture;
7 To be able to evaluate the complex relationship between social life and urban;
8 To be able to interpret the social effects of urban renewal policies;
