19 Objective of the Course: To provide the students with the information about the theory of democracy.

1 To be able to have information about the theories of democracy;
2 To get information about different democracy types.;
3 To gain knowledge about the ideas of prominent thinkers in the theory of democracy.;
4 To understand the development of the historical development of democracy.;
5 To learn the concepts related to the theories of democracy;
6 To be able to analyse the theme of democracy with a political thought perspective.;
7 To be able to follow the developments taking place in the field of democracy theories.;
8 To be able to interpret the current political events within the framework of theories of democracy.;
