19 Objective of the Course: The purpose of this course is to inform students about the military and political processes in the National Struggle Period. Also it is aimed to give the ability to interpret the information gained and conduct a study using research methods of history.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To learn about research methods of History Science;
2 To learn the military phases of the National Struggle;
3 To learn main political events of the National Struggle Period;
4 To have information on the process of establishment of the Republic of Turkey;
5 To gain the ability of objective evaluation of the period;
6 To be able to interpret the process in a national and global perspective;
7 To learn strategies for full-scale struggle;
8 To have ability to conduct research;
