19 Objective of the Course: To educate qualified students in the field of characteristics of bacterial microorganisms caused animal diseases ,epidemiology of diseases,laboratory diagnosis,protection, control and vaccines.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Able to distinguish the bacteria caused animal diseases according to their colonies,microscopic morphologies and other phenotypic characteristics ;
2 Able to grasp routes of transmission, contamination resources and regional spread of bacterial diseases ;
3 Able to take the samples from infected animals appropriately; and to send the materials at optimal conditions for diagnosis of bacterial infections;
4 Able to isolate and identificate of bacteria from materials and able to carry out serological and molecular tecniques for diagnosis, in case of necessity.;
5 Able to carry out antimicrobial susceptibility test to determine antibiotic susceptibility of isolated bacteria;
6 Able to take hygienic measures for the prevention of outbreaks ;
7 Able to create vaccination programmes to prevent outbreaks;
8 Able to apply the provisions of the law about animal health for notifiable diseases;
