Objective of the Course: |
To teach;
-The medical treatment is not the only way to cure nutritional diseases but diet is also important, and nutritional diseases can be cured by the correct dietary management
-Dietary management in nutritional diseases (causing disorders on nutrition, absorption or metabolic disorders)
-The specific nutrients to prevent nutritional diseases in cats and dogs
-Diet types which are used in nutritional diseases
-Commercial and home made diets which are used in clinical nutrition
-Specific feedstuffs and diets for rodents and exotic animals
