19 Objective of the Course: The objective of this course is to inform about the historical bases, competences and responsibilities of law of the sea
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development The student makes use of maritime law knowledge while practicing her profession.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to know the progress of law of the sea;
2 To be able to know situations and legal statutes of islands in terms of law of the sea;
3 To be able to know the legal structure of inland waters;
4 To be able to know the legal statutes of territorial waters;
5 To be able to know the legal statutes of narrow seas;
6 To be able to know the continental shelf in terms of law of the sea;
7 To be able to know open seas in law of the sea (midterm exam);
8 To be able to know arguements between states in consideration of law of the sea;
9 To be able to know sea bed in terms of law of the sea;
10 To be able to know auditing in consideration of law of the sea;
