19 Objective of the Course: To evaluate the Islamic theological works of post-Ghazalian period in terms of methodology and contents

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be acquainted with the later kalam literature and its characteristics.;
2 To explain the place of later kalam literature in the whole kalam tradition.;
3 To analyze the later kalam texts.;
4 To make inferences from later theological texts for today.;
5 To present a perspective about the foundations of rational thinking in Islam.;
6 To comprehend the relationship between al-ma’qul and al-manqul in religious thought.;
7 To speculate on theological issues in a systematic and coherent way.;
8 To present original comments on basic religious texts.;
9 To make further discussions in theology.;
10 To produce apologetical approaches.;
