The student gains information about the Ottoman monumental constructions built during the period of foundation of the Ottoman State until the time of II. Bayezid and characteristics and building applications of Ottoman Early Architecture.

To be able to learn the features of Ottoman Early Period Architecture and building practices;

To be able to learn the important monumental structures of the Ottoman Early Period Architecture.;

To be able to comprehend the relations of Early Ottoman Architecture with Seljuk Art;

To be able to comprehend the interactions of early Ottoman architecture with Byzantine art;

To be able to learn the architectural and construction techniques of the Early Ottoman Period Mosque;

To be able to learn commonly used architectural decorations in the Early Ottoman Period;
