19 Objective of the Course: It aims at analyzing geopolitics as a concept combining geography with politics and its impacts on countries domestic and foreign affairs
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development By examining the effects of geography and politics on international relations, the course will help the students establish the link between international politics and geographical realities.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to learn the root, meaning and the development of geopolitics as a concept;
2 To be able to informed about classical and current issues on geopolitcs;
3 To be able to analyze geopolitical discourse and its implications from a historical point of view;
4 To be able to grasp the transformative role of geopolitics in current world politics;
5 To be able to understand the impact of Turkey's geopoltical situation on foreign and security policies;
