19	Objective of the Course:	To define, practice and evaluate the nursing needs of the patient / healthy individual and his/her family in their living atmosphere, to make research to develop nursing at home services, to create coordination with the patient’s living area and hospital, to train them to gain communication skills with their health professional taking care of them at home.
20	Contribution of the Course to Professional Development	It is the ability of the patient / healthy individual and their family to plan and apply the nursing care services they need in the environment they live in.

Learning Outcomes:

1	Definition of nursing at home and getting to know its development cycle. ;
2	Getting to know the housing services in the world and in Turkey. ;
3	To define the responsibilities and duties of the nurse who is nursing at home. ;
4	To learn the place of house caring services in health regulations and discuss its importance. ;
5	To learn the ethical and cultural values in nursing at home and be helpful in the management of this period by the patient’s family. ;
6	To evaluate, plan the nursing at home process and practice the suitable nursing strategies starting from the discharge of the patient from the hospital.;
7	To help the patient’s family manage this process regarding the nursing of the patient who is looked after at home. ;
8	To give health education to the patient and his-her family by making the coordination of the nursing at home services. ;
9	To work in coordination with the health team giving nursing service at home and provide effective communication. ;
10	To follow the researches made in nursing at home service field. ;

13	Nursing at home of a cancer patient
14	Nursing at home in old ages and rehabilitation process.
