19	Objective of the Course:	The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts of employment and unemployment; theoretical discussions on global unemployment; fighting with global unemployment; the aspects of unemployment in Turkey; theoretical analysis for fighting with unemployment in Turkey.

Learning Outcomes:

1	To be able to use the basic concepts of labour market.;
2	To be able to analyse employment and unemployment.;
3	Students will learn to discuss unemployment as a problem in the context of global and national level.;
4	To teach to students analyse unemployment struggling policies.;
5	To teach to students analyse unemployment problem in Turkey.;
6	Students will learn to compare global labour market datas and national labour market datas.;
7	To be able to discuss the unemployment-based social issues.;
8	Students will learn to discuss Decent Work Notion.;

3	Examining the meaning, historical background and theoretical approches of unemploment.
4	Analysing the types of unemployment.
5	Examining the concept of under employment broadly.
6	Analysing global labour markets and global unemployment via Internatioal Labour Organisation datas.
7	Researching unemployment in the developed and developing countries.
8	Analysing unemployment in Turkey with the structure of Turkish labour market.
9	Researching unemploment problem in Turkey with historical background.
10	Examining labour market policies.
11	Analysing passive labour market policies in detail.
12	Analysing active labour market policies in detail.
13	Examining the concept of Decent Work with its importance, historical background, dimensions and characteristics.
14	Examining labour market policies struggling with unemployment in Turkey.
