19 Objective of the Course: The aim of the course is, recognition and features of Flora of Turkey.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To understand the floristic bibliography of Turkey, Turkish and foreigner researchers, who study on Flora of Turkey and their studies. ;
2 To understand the composition and elements of Flora of Turkey and the development of vegetation.;
3 To identify the various habitats and the plants that seen in these habitats in Flora of Turkey;
4 To examine and identify important endemics of Flora of Turkey;
5 To identify and classificate the types of climates and soil types in order to vegetation of Turkey.;
6 To learn the place of Turkey in Flora Kingdoms and the phytogeographic regions of Turkey.;
7 To understand the native families, components of the groups and the endemism in Flora of Turkey;
8 To learn the Gymnosperm types that spreading on wide areas and their distributions. ;
9 To understand the important plant areas of Flora of Turkey, with its floristic components.;

3 Topography and climate of Turkey according to geographical regions
4 Development of flora and vegetation cover in Turkey, regional zones, floral kingroms, place of Turkey in Floral kingdoms and phytogeographical regions in Turkey
5 İmportant features of Flora of Turkey, flora elements and composition, distribution of families and genera in Flora of Turkey
6 Arboreal species in Flora of Turkey and their distribution
7 Different habitats in Turkey and important plants from these habits
8 Endemism and endemic plLife / Vegetation forms in Flora of Turkeyants in Turkey
9 Life / Vegetation forms in Flora of Turkey
10 Flora of Turkey with the poin of view of plant geography, Euro-Siberian Region
