Brief History
The Department of Women and Family Studies Postgarduate Program was opened in the 2020-2021 academic year. This program aims to bring together different disciplines who want to work with women and family. Therefore, it is an interdisciplinary program.

Qualification Awarded
If the program is completed successfully and the program qualifications are provided, the Women and Family Studies postgraduate degree is gained.

Specific Admission Requirements
1- Bachelor’s degree 2- To receive required score on the Selection Examination for Academic Personnel and Graduate Studies (ALES). (ALES scores are valid for five years. Minimum ALES score of 55 –verbal-).

Specific arrangements for the recognition of prior learning
The provisions in “Regulation on Transfer among Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, and Subspecialty and the Principals of Credit Transfer among Institutions in Higher Education Institutions” are applied.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Having satisfactorily completed a minimum of 120 ECTS and a minimum GPA of 70, and defending his/her dissertation in the presence of an examining committee, student is awarded the degree of Master of Arts in the department of Women and Family Studies.

Profile of The Programme
The aim of the Women adn Family Stuides postgraduate program is to educate researchers who can produce knowledge about relevant fields, can share this knowledge in national and international area.

Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples
Individuals who take courses from different disciplines in the Department of Women and Family Studies and successfully complete their thesis in the field and graduate as a scientific expert will be able to work as experts or experts in different institutions and processes where women and family are involved. For example; In Juvenile Courts, Employment and Employment Institutions, in the public and private sectors.

Access to Further Studies
Candidates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in the Women and Family Studies Master´s Program with Thesis, provided that they are successful in the application and interview procedures.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Every student has to attend %70 of lessons to check in at the programme in the beginning of term and to attend final exam. Students have to attend at least 1 final exam for every lessons. Every exam is assessed in 100 point scale. Students who get AA, BA, BB, and CB marks quiz out of the lesson.

Graduation Requirements
Graduation requirements are to pass all courses in the programme (equivalent 120 ECTS) and to complete the dissertation.
