Objective of the Course:
It is aimed for students to learn the judicial organs and their adjudication process which are used in settling international disputes. In this context, the jurisdiction of leading international courts and judicial organs are evaluated according to international law.

Learning Outcomes:

Students learn concept of dispute and have knowledge about different types of disputes.;

Students learn different ways of how jurisdiction of International Court of Justice emerge.;

The structure of ICJ, election of judges and ICJ's adjudication process are learnt.;

Students have knowledge of historical development of ICC, structure of the court and its jurisdiction. ;

The crimes which are spelled as a catalogue in Statue of International Criminal Court are learnt. ;
6
Establishment, structure, judges of International Tribunal for the Law of Sea.;
7
Students are able to comprehend emergence of Permanent Court of Arbitration, its organization and details of process of arbitration ;

Students learn fundamental knowledge about jurisdiction of European Court of Human Rights.;

Students are unable to compare different courts and they can argue differences in their organization and adjudication.;
