19 Objective of the Course: To inform the student about the Roman Law of Property and to ensure the student understand through determining the similarities between the concepts in Roman Law of Property and Turkish Law of Property.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 At the end of this course, students can define basic concepts of property law. ;
2 Learns the concept of property and its types under Roman Law of Property and Turkish Law of Property.;
3 Learns the division of rights under Roman Law of Property and understands the similarities with the same division under Turkish Law of Property.;
4 Understands the principles of Real Rights under Roman Law and learns their reflections on Turkish Law of Property.;
5 Knows the authorizations that property right includes under Roman and Turkish Law of Property and learns the types of acquisition of ownership.;
6 Knows the limited real rights existing under Roman Law of Property and can compare them with the limited real rights under Turkish Law of Property;
7 Knows the types of collateral securities existing under Roman Law of Property and can compare them with the collateral securities existing under Turkish Law of Property.;
