19 Objective of the Course: The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of contemporary political regimes.

1 To be able to identify and describe the concept of political regime.;
2 To be able to distinguish the presidential system.;
3 To be able to identify the status, duties and powers of president on the presidential system. ;
4 To be able to identify the semi-presidential system and the status of president in the semi-presidential system.;
5 To be able to describe the parliamentary government system.;
6 To be able to define the status, duties and responsibilities of the president in the parliemantary government system.;
7 To be able to associate the relations between president and government within the parliamentary government system.;
