19 Objective of the Course: To give the ability to read, transliterate, understand and evaluate epigraphic texts in the examples of inscriptions in Ottoman architecture.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 The ability to read and evaluate the inscriptions in and outside the mosque;
2 The ability to read and evaluate the inscriptions in and outside the shrine;
3 The ability to read and evaluate the tomb inscriptions of the Ottoman classical period ;
4 The ability to read and evaluate the tomb inscriptions of the late Ottoman period.;
5 The ability to read and evaluate the building and repair inscriptions.;
6 The ability to read and evaluate the bridge inscriptions.;
7 The ability to read and evaluate the fountain inscriptions.;
8 The ability to read and evaluate the seals in books and manuscripts.;
9 The ability to read and evaluate the seals of Ottoman kadi.;
10 The ability to read and evaluate the epigraphic writings on different objects.;
