Objective of the Course: |
It is aimed to introduce students with the scientific study of Psychology and its various branches. It is aimed to make it possible for students to understand the historical roots of psychology, and basic research methods in psychology. Also, students are provided with theoretical and methodological information about special topics of psychology (Physiology and Behavior, Sensation and Perception, Altering States of Consciousness, Learning, Cognitive Abilities…etc). In doing so, students are aimed to gain a general idea about the vision of psychology as a science ad to be able to grasp terms and concepts in some sub-disciplines of Psychology. |
