19 Objective of the Course: To give knowledge about Islamic civilization and its institutions emerged in curse of time, and to study its relation to other civilizations especially Western civilization.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To evaluate that with which features Islamic civilization comes into prominence among other civilizations;
2 To analyze basic features of cultures and civilization before Islam;
3 To comprehend the influences of other pre-Islamic civilizations on Islamic civilization;
4 To explain basic principles and characteristics of Islamic civilization;
5 To comprehend the high level of Islamic civilization in Abbasid period and especially in Umayyad State in Andalusia, which made great impact on Europe;
6 To evaluate the contributions of Turks to Islamic civilization and influences of Islam on Turks;
7 To make comments about the influences of Islamic civilization on the West;
8 To analyze prominent scientists grown in Islamic civilization and their contribution to world civilization;
9 To evaluate the institutions of Islamic civilization such as caliphate, administration, education, waqf and jurisdiction.;
10 To evaluate economic and military institutions f Islamic civilization and urbanization;
