19 Objective of the Course: To introduce the organization years of the Ottoman Empire by geographical, historical, social, economic and cultural terms, to give an overview to understand and evaluate the basic dynamics of transition of Ottomans from principality to the state and empire.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To know the basic elements take part in the organization of Ottoman State.;
2 To recognize the political, social and culturel changes in Anatolia occurred by Mongol invasion. ;
3 To analyze the changes occured in Anatolia after the Mongol invasion.;
4 To recognize the importance of the knowledge that Ottomans inherited from the former Turkish States.;
5 To compare each of the first Ottoman Sultans’ administrations.;
6 To take sample some practises witnessed in the organization period of Ottomans. ;
7 To compare Ottomans with the other Western Anatolian principalities and to explain and interpret the differences between them.;
8 To make similarities between the Ottomans organization period’s events and the events occuring today .;
9 To know the clasical and modernsources about the Ottomans organization period.;
10 To criticize the contemporary approaches about the Ottomans organization period with scientific methods.;

4 Main Muslim Turkish states.
5 Mid and East Anatolian principalities in the organization period of Ottoman State.
6 West Anatolian principalities in the organization period of Ottoman State.
7 Rumeli in the organization period of Ottoman State.
8 The Byzantine Empire in the organization period of Ottoman State.
9 Social status in Anatolia in the organization period of Ottoman State.
10 Theories on the Establishment of the Ottoman Empire - I
11 Theories on the Establishment of the Ottoman Empire – II
12 Theories on the Establishment of the Ottoman Empire – III
13 Evaluation of the theories on the Establishment of the Ottoman Empire
