19 Objective of the Course: The aim of this course is to grasp Turkey’s Middle East policy especially in the historical context. It is supposed that this course will provide students to comprehend both contemporary and future developments in the Middle East.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to comprehend Turkey’s Middle East policy in the Cold War;
2 To be able to comprehend Turkey’s changing Middle East policy after the Cold War;
3 To be able to understand Turkey’s foreign polict towards the states in the region.;
4 To be able to get some information about Turkey’s relations with the outside powers in the context of Middle East policy;
5 To be able to learn the economic factors on Turkey’s Middle East policy;
