19 Objective of the Course: By the end of this course, students will be informed about the rights and responsibilities according to legal regulations, and able to determine the right behaviour when facing with legal actions against them.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 - comprehend the basic concepts and approaches of Law as a discipline;
2 - describe physicians’ compensation liabilities ;
3 - describe physicians’ criminal liabilities ;
4 - describe physicians’ governmental / administrative liabilities ;
5 - define the coverage and content of Health Law;
6 - explain the rights and liabilities of healthcare providers, and patients and the society in general;
7 - describe the terms “malpractice”, “healthcare-caused harm”, “complication”, “medical error” etc, their meanings, and explanatory models for their development - comprehend the viewpoint of related legal arrangements ;
8 - define legal, criminal, and administrative trial mechanisms and sanctions.;
