19 Objective of the Course: Clinical environment or field conditions, to teach the techniques of sedation and anesthesia in domestic animal and give them the ability to apply

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To learn apply to sedation all types of domestic animals and pets ;
2 To learn the techniques of anesthesia, appropriate to the operation ;
3 To learn clinical environment under field conditions, according to animal species to gain the ability to select and apply the most appropriate anesthetic protocol ;
4 To learn Provide an adequate level of analgesia in animals ;
5 To learn the techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation ;
6 To learn to be able euthanasia if it is necessary ;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 The aim of the course a brief overview of the course content and information about the source,patient preanestetic evaluation and physical examination Anamnesis and physical examination
2 Patients be categorized according to ASA(American Association of Anesthesiologists), and to give information on factors affecting the choice of anesthetic material selection Sedation in dogs and cats
3 Preanestezik period, the preparation of the patient's anesthesia, correction of existing problems, recovery from anesthesia and maintenance Intubation in dogs
4 Preanestezik drugs and anticholinergics, the use of tranquillizers and sedatives and analgesic therapy Intubation in cats
5 General anesthesia induction, maintenance and recovery periods, the reliability of general anesthesia, anesthesia stages and terminology Induction of anesthesia in dogs and enjectable anesthesia
6 Induction techniques and drugs, patient monitorizsyonu, anesthetic agents and anesthetic techniques, injectable anesthetics Induction of anesthesia in cats and enjectable anesthesia
7 General anesthesia in dogs, preanestezik patient assessment, preparation of general anesthesia, analgesia, premedication, anesthetic plan, induction, maintenance and recovery Anesthesia equipment
