Learning Outcomes:

1 To comprehend the place of philosophy of history in understanding history.; 2 To comprehend that classification of history depends on our worldview.; 3 To realize that religious and non-religious approaches to history bring out different results. ; 4 To evaluate world history through history of the prophets.; 5 To explain the place of the prophets in civilizations.; 6 To comprehend anthropologic approaches to religion.; 7 To criticize anthropologic theories on religion.; 8 To explain “İsrailiyat” as a source about pre-Islamic times. ; 9 To comprehend the prophets and their struggle as a background of Islamic civilization.; 10 To appreciate the place of the Prophet Muhammad among other prophets.;
