19 Objective of the Course: Main purpose of the course is to deal with early modern period which witnessed so many important developments and formed the shape of modern Europe. Moreover it also aimed to assess the impact of French Revolution. Nationalism and liberalism.

1 To explain modernism, modernization and modernity Project concepts;
2 Understand the importance of the French Revolution, affect the whole world;
3 To Comprehend process of the emergence values in Europe such as nationalism, equality, freedom;
4 To explain tension between expansionist nature of capitalism and the nation-state understanding.;
5 To interpret colonial activities a formative element in the history of the World.;
6 To illustrate how the modern institutions and values pervasive to the non-Western World;
7 To evaluate modern society natüre and forms of organization.;
8 To understand the origins of today's political balance of power.;
