19 Objective of the Course: To emphasize the importance of the Microbiological Laboratory during the specific diagnosis of the diseases and / or infections caused by bacteria, virus, fungus, blood-born parasites etc.; techniques for the routine and non-routine (references, verification, molecular) laboratory examination that are used for the microbiological diagnosis of the infectious diseases which are particularly important in our country and to interpret the laboratory results within the frameworks of clinical collaboration. Holding this objective, the course is aimed for the optimum benefits of the students during their both intern and after graduation period.

1 To enable to choose relevant tests for the diagnosis of infectious diseases and infections ;
2 To acquire knowledge which can be helpful for interreting routine microbiological test results;
