19 Objective of the Course: Students have the detailed knowledge about the concepts of faith, ilâhiyyât and nubuwwât; have ability to develop the right approaches in these subjects.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Students can have detailed knowledge about the basic principles of Islam.;;
2 Can distinguish between the right and heretic opinions in credo.;;
3 Can identify the link of the credal principles with other religious principles.;;
4 Can analyze the theological problems.;;
5 Can comprehend the different theological approaches.;;
6 Can conciliate the different theological approaches.;;
7 Can make further discussions in theological matters.;;
8 Can present original comments on the relationship between God and human.;;
9 Can analyze the classical sources of Islamic theology.;;
10 Can have the ability to offer the solutions to the contemporary theological problems.;;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 Concept of faith (iman); definition of faith
2 Other concepts related to the concept of faith: Islam, kufr, nifaq, shirk, fisq, irtidad.
3 The necessity of belief in God.
4 God’s existence.
5 The Attributes of God.
6 The relationship between essence and attributes.
7 The Most beautiful names (al-Asma al-Husna).
8 The Belief in fate and predestination.
9 The problem of human freedom.
10 Other issues related to ilahiyat: Husn-qubh, wise purpose (hikma and illa), laying insupportable duty (taklif ma la yutak), the appointed time (ajal), sustenance (rizq).
11 The belief in prophets and the need to the prophethood.
12 Other issues related to the prophethood and miracle.
13 The belief in holy books.
14 Quran and other holy boks.
