19 Objective of the Course: Introduction to Old World prehistoric cultures from the beginning to the invention of writing. Informing the students about different chronologies and cultures of prehistoric Asia, Eupore and Africa. Information about prehistoric research techniques.

1 Understanding that the whole world and living organisms evolving;
2 Have general information about human evolution;
3 Knowing Pliocene and Pleistocene hominids with their names and features;
4 Learning stone tool making techniques and its effect to evolution;
5 Distinguishing artifacts from "naturefacts";
6 Introduction to the main Lower Paleolithic sites and cultures;
7 Have information about out-of-Africa;
8 Introduction to Neanderthal and his cultures;
9 Introduction to dispersals of Homo sapiens and his cultures;
10 Learning skills about interpretation and research in human evolution and Paleolithic cultures;

8 Neanderthals: African Middle Stone Age and Eurasian Middle Paleolithic cultures
9 Emergence of Homo sapiens
10 Extinction of the neanderthals and predominance of Homo sapiens to the Old World
11 Out of Old World: occupations of Americas and Oceania
12 Upper Paleolithic cultures
13 Art in human evolution and cognitive stages
