19 Objective of the Course: –To gain the ability to understand the developments and changes in Turkish medicine from pre-Islamic period to today –To review the main characteristics of Turkish medicine –To learn the phases of Turkish medical education with a comparison of the structure of period

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to realize the changes and differences of Turkish medicine in different geographies and cultures ;
2 To be able to define the importance of Turkish medicine in the history of medicine;
3 To be able to get the knowledge about the health services, health institutions and health practitioners in the history of Turkish medicine and compare them periodically ;
