19 Objective of the Course: To inform the student about the Roman Law that constitutes the basis of Turkish Legal System and the place and importance of the concepts devolved to Turkish Law from Roman Law.

21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Learns Roman Law that constitutes the basis of Private Law.;
2 Learns the reasons that lead to the occurrence of the concepts that devolved to Turkish Law.;
3 Knows the principles on which the concepts that devolved to Turkish Law are based.;
4 Knows where the concepts devolved to Turkish Law are placed within the scope of the Turkish Legal system.;
5 Knows how the concepts that devolved to Turkish Law affect the legal system.;
6 Learns the changes that occur in time of concepts devolved to Turkish Law, by way of comparison.;
7 Knows how the concepts devolved to Turkish Law are applied today.;
