Objective of the Course:
This course aims to provide students with the content and method of the political history studies and with the information of the change, transformation and the chronological history of political happenings guiding the world politics affecting societies and political intuitions. In this way, students’ ability to evaluate political events is thought to be enhanced.

Learning Outcomes:

To be able to identify the study field of the History of Political Events. ;

To be able to define the political and cultural features of the pre-modern era. ;
3
To be able to identify the modern transformation of revolutions in economic, politic and cultural fields. ;

To identify and describe the concept of the form of the modern state and the process of the politics’ gathering in a single hand.;
5
To be able to identify the emergence of the international system, tension that dominates the system and the reasons leading to the two world wars. ;

To be able to identify the factors which determine the political behaviors of the members of the international system that is gathered around two main ideologies during the cold war period. ;
7
To describe the results of the political movements in the economic, cultural and social fields in the post- II. world war era. ;
8
To be able to identify the new political acts which are possible to emerge in the new political environment developed as a result of the loss of political effectiveness of one of the dominant ideologies having control on international politics.;
