Objective of the Course: |
The basic aim of the course is to provide the students with the knowledge of local governments in terms of their legal and institutional aspects as well as of the practice regarding local governments. Within this framework, topics including the history of local governments in Turkey, the current local government organization, the problems of local governments in Turkey and the different conceptions of local governments in the world will be examined during the course period. |
