19 Objective of the Course: To provide students with the neessary skills and knowledge for conducting research in different topics of the field of public administration including data collection, data analysis, evaluation of the research findings and the presentation of the findings in a systematic way.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 To be able to analyze those phenomenon and issues related with the discipline of Public Administration through a multi-disciplinary and integrated approach and to produce proper solutions.;
2 To be capable of following the theoretical and practical developments within the fields of political and social sciences, administrative sciences, urbanization and environmental problems and law on national and international scales.;
3 To have competence in the theories and other conceptual approaches related with the discipline of Public Administration and to have the capacity to comment on these theoretical constructions from a critical perspective.;
4 To be able to reach the academic literature on public administration, to prepare a research design based on this theoretical framework;
5 To be able to conduct a scientific research by utilizing both the quantitative and qualitative methods and to analyze gathered data as well as to produce findings out of them.;
6 To have professional and social responsibility as well as the skills to produce scientific knowledge in line with the ethical principles; to be able to make scientific publications.;
7 To be able to use Turkish language properly and to have at least the skills of one foreign language; to have advanced level communicative skills and to be able to take part in professional activities and cooperations at both the national and international levels.;
