19 Objective of the Course: To teach necessary informations about seed production, seed growing, packing, marketing and to get right solutions for problems in this process.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development Considering that some diseases can be transmitted from seeds, the students will learn the methods of obtaining healthy seeds and how to perform seed health tests, which will lead to more success in their profession.

1 To learn about seed formation;
2 To get information about seed morphology and physiology.;
3 To get information about seed cultivation technology;
4 To get information about seed storage and marketing.;
5 To have knowledge about seed production and processing technology;

Week Theoretical Practical
1 Seed ( usage places, size and forms), seed places and seed production.
2 Seed development
3 Chemical structure of seed and material accumulation in seeds
4 Seed dormancy, dormancy types and factors which affect dormancy.
5 Maturing after harvest, physological dwarfism and coherence in seed.
6 Germination of seed, germination types and factors which affects germination.
7 Germination controls and importance for agricultural production.
8 Lifetime and disruption of seed , causes and symptoms of disruptions.
9 Important points to be considered in seed production
10 Important points to be considered in seed production (cont.)
11 Seed selection, drying,cleaning, disinfection and marketing.
12 Storage methods and factors that affects seed vigor and life.
