19 Objective of the Course: The development of the concept of health and the definition of modern health, the concept of disease, protection practices against individuals, protective practices in protection from infections in health care enterprises, basic health information about each period of childhood from childhood to old age, knowledge about the common diseases in the society, it is to bring.

1 Definition of Health Factors affecting health. Health Services and Benefits.
2 Body care Deep structure, functions, substances that harm the body. Definition of infection Factors forming the infection
3 Infectious diseases and treatment principles. Diagnosis of infectious diseases, prevention methods, treatment and useful information
4 Nutrition in infectious diseases Definition of drugs, their structure, classification and ways of applying drugs. Drug treatment and treatment principles. Drug side effects and toxin effects.
5 Immunity and vaccination. Vaccine types and conditions that can not be vaccinated. Things to be taken care of with vaccination Maternal and child health Family planning Pregnancy, birth and birth control methods
6 Structure of blood, tasks, Blood groups, Rh factor Causes and properties of water pollution
7 Blood pressure and body temperature measurement Use of blood pressure and thermometer.

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course In order to decide on the success of the students in this course, 1 midterm exam with 40 points and 1 final exam with 60 points are made. By comparing the scores collected by each student at the end of the semester with the course passing criteria in accordance with the Bursa Uludağ University Associate and Undergraduate Education Regulation sent by Uludağ University, it is decided that each student is successful or failed.
Information Results are determined by the letter grade determined by the relative evaluation system.
