19 Objective of the Course: Be able to gain to make ready the clothing product for shipment and to explain the fabric preperation in cutting and sewing, sewing types and techniques according to workflow in garment production company.
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To be able to follow the production process by getting to know the garment production company.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Be able to sort operation process in the right way;
2 Be able to explain the use of lay planning garmenting in the mill;
3 Be able to use spreading types;
4 Be able to explain the cutting and sewing preperation of parts;
5 Be able to explain the types of machines used in garment making;
6 Be able to know the difference between seam types;
7 Be able to know sewing thread types and where they were used;
8 Be able to identify seawing fauts and damages;
9 Be able to identify the stages of ironing and packeting;
10 Be able to identify the stages of quality control;
22 Course Content:
Week Theoretical Practical
1 The general organization of garment making
2 Producing pattern for garments
3 To produce garment lay planning, types, and calculating the percentage of using fabric
4 Producing spresding techniques for garment making
5 Preperation of cutting techniques and sewing in garment production
6 The preperation and techniques of assembly seam
7 Basic and special stitching types in garment production
8 Repeating courses and 1st midterm exam
9 General presentation of garment making machines and Presentation of how the stitching is made on the sewing machines
10 The grading of sewing threads and fabric choice
11 The faults thet may ocur in sewing processing
12 Ironing process and ironing specifications
13 Repeating courses and 2nd midterm exam
14 The steps of control and shipment of garments

Measurement and Evaluation Techniques Used in the Course Practice, quiz, sample problems
Information İn order to evaluate the success in this course, 1 midterm exam with 40 points and 1 final exam with 60 points are made. The scores of each student are compared with the criteria for passing a course in accordance with Bursa Uludağ University Short Cycle and First Cycle Education and Training Regulations and determines the student's success as successful or unsuccessful.
