Objective of the Course:
Having a good command of all sterilization and disinfection protocols required by the dental faculty student in clinical internships and post-graduation dentistry practices, before and after patient admission.

Contribution of the Course to Professional Development
In clinical practice of dentistry, the health of every person in the dental clinic will be protected by preventing the development of cross infection between the patient and the clinical staff (including the doctor).

Learning Outcomes:
1
Prevention of cross infection when using real teeth in preclinical laboratory applications;
2
In clinical internship practices, the intern physician has the theoretical knowledge to protect his patient, assistant staff and himself/ herself from cross infection;
3
In all dental practices after graduation, the dentist and assistant staff should have a command of infection control during and after the patient enters the clinic and is treated.;
4
After graduation, the dentist must have the equipment and knowledge to train his / her assistant staff on cross infection and infection control in the clinic;

Information
1. Raw success grade; It is obtained by collecting 40% of the semester grade and 60% of the semester / end-of-year exam grade. In obtaining the raw success grade, the semester grade and the semester / year-end exam results are calculated over 100 full points. In the second final exam, 60 raw score threshold out of 100 is applied. 3. Students with a grade point average of at least 60 in a semester are considered successful.
