19 Objective of the Course: Making the students acquire basic concepts about Economics, analyze the problems and solutions in economic events and understand the macro-economic structure and theorotical basis of Macro Economics and the formation of price in production factors market and in aggregate market
20 Contribution of the Course to Professional Development To contribute to the students' mastery of the basic concepts and functioning of the economy in their professional lives or activities.
21 Learning Outcomes:
1 Being able to learn the basic concepts about Economics and comparing the economic systems and the organization of Economics;
2 Being able to analyze the formation of the level of supply and demand in accordance with The Price Theory and learning the concept about the sorts of supply and demand elasticity;
3 Being able to make analysis of consumer’s equilibrium in accordance with Utility Theory and analysis of equilibrium and sorts of costs in accordance with Cost Theory;
4 Being able to comprehend the formation and balance of prices in market, classifying the sorts of market and making profitability analysis according to the sorts of market;
5 Being able to analyze the production factors and the market of the production factors ;
6 Being able to get to know the concept related with National Income and analyzing the methods of computation of National Income;
7 Being able to learn the money and the monetary systems;
8 Being able to comprehend the inflation and the methods of struggle with inflation;
9 Being able to learn the politics of employment and unemployment;
10 Being able to assess Turkish Economy by analyzing the policies of foreign trade and balance of payments sheet and the policies of economic growth and development and distribution of income;
